Hood Latch Help

The 72 Challenger I just bought has a piece missing from the hood release. The guy I got it from just has a zip tie holding it up. Any idea what the missing piece is called?

I'd call it a retaining bracket, not sure of the actual wording. I can check the manual if you like. It is an angled piece, has a hole in it for the hood release rod support/alignment, and attaches with two fasteners at those holes. I think I have that piece and will look if you need it - let me know.

It has a little surface rust, but it's solid. I can send just the bracket or the whole kit and kabutle. Let me know.
