This is what I run in my Street/Strip 440 Valiant
It runs in the 10's thru the Mufflers and I can drive it anywhere!
As featured in Mopar Max Magazine and LVMS Track Pro Champion
In our testing it has proven to be over 2 Tenths and 2 MPH faster
than the Purple Shafts that I have run for 20 years. Plus it has several
inches more manifold vacuum which helps the idle and tuning (and help
Power Brakes work with no extra Canaster)
Cam Specs: Intake 223 @ .050 .506 Lift
Ex. 228 @ .050 .524 Lift
AND It is ground to be put in at 108 ( 3 Deg. Advance )
The Hughes Springs are 130 Seat and 300 Open @.500
They run comfortably to over 6500+ RPM = I shift @ 6200
A lot of guys run much more spring pressure BUT it is waste on a street
car and is harmful to Cam and Valve Train longevity. This cam profiles does
not have any need for more for stability.
Correct Retailers are Included
Spring is thicker than OEM and needs special retainer
Hughes Street Hydraulic lifters included not the rattly antipump ups!
These operate great to 6500 with 1/4 to 1/2 preload
Can fits fine with plenty Piston to Valve with Zero Deck Flat Top (NO Notches)
$395.00
Add $50 If you want the roller chain
Plus $48. Shipping/Fully Insured
