That seems like that policy is too inexpensive for the awesome car you have. Is this a stated value policy? I would think your car is worth at least 100K. I would hate to see you get in a bad accident and find out State Farm will only pay a fraction of that.State Farm @$155/6mos
Its actually less than 100K. I'm a 40 year plus SF Home/Car insurer, no claims policy. They supposedly will pay value or replace it (to my liking). That seems like that policy is too inexpensive for the awesome car you have. Is this a stated value policy? I was making a wild guess on the value, It is worth a bunch for sure! A little more than my 71 Barracuda coupe. I have heard of horror stories about insurance companies really undervaluing collector cars. RodIts actually less than 100K. I'm a 40 year plus SF Home/Car insurer, no claims policy. Do any of them allow you to keep the wreck if written off.I also have State Farm , Hagerty wanted about $1000 a year for $100,000 car
Yep, I drive my classics without worry of mileage limits. Now that we're settled in Colorado, we pay $687.00 a year to Hagerty. This includes $35.00 for their Hagerty Plus (emergency roadside service). The premium buys sufficient coverage for one $25,000.00 show car and $55,000.00 for the Challenger - my other show ride. If age has anything to do with it, I am a crispy 64 years with zero moving violations for the last 34 years.
To add a twist to all this and the reason I mentioned "show cars" is this; Inquire with any insurance, that covers classic rides, the maximum mileage allowed per year. You might be surprise by their set standards. Not even enough for an "Oil Change". *shakes head*
