A cross between a laptop/an iPod/an iPhone (w/the apps..) why not just get a laptop?
What's the purpose? Why have one? That's what I don't get. So if you can explain it to me at least I'd know there's a practical application for it.

too big and bulky this thing you can put in your pocket and a way you go....put head phones on it and listen to music...I think...I'm not up up on all this stuff either...my wife wants one too....

Got the price thing and if you're an Apple person, okay. But I can get a laptop at Sam's starting at $399 going up. Guess for my purposes (being able to sit quietly and write) a laptop would be the most feasible, especially since most publishing houses want everything in Word.
