" ... Even if it isnt an E Body feel free to post it here ..." so here goes.
Billy is considering a trade of his 1948 Fiat Nostaligia Fuel Altered for a numbers matching (preferably 4 speed) running and driving street Mopar. Must be very clean / nice -- no projects, kit cars or race cars.
His altered is one of the old MOB fuel cars from the west coast. This is the real deal!!! Set a 5 sec 1/4 mile record in 1986 in Spokane, Washington (http://www.mysterion.net/AAFA/mob.shtml near the bottom of the page).
Of five originally built, only two still exist -- the other is reportedly in the Petersen Automotive Museum. Per the original builder, Ed Moore, the chassis has been modified a bit over the years but this IS his car.
Certified to 7.50s with current SFI belts.
MSD ignition (7AL box, 2 step, pro red HVC coil)
Autometer gauges
Ford 9" rear end with all Mark Williams components
4.30 pro gears / spool
17 x 2.25 spindle mount Weld Prostar front wheels
32 x 14 x 15 rear Weld draglites
Goodyear tires all around
Hurst ProStick shifter
Simpson Parachute
8' single wheel wheelie bar
Set up for either a SBC, BBC or Hemi (no motor plates for the Hemi). BBC zoomies and SBC zoomie kit are included with the deal. Originally set up for an early Hemi or 417 Donovan and a Lenco.
You can check out more photos on my website's About Us page near the bottom (click the link in the caption above its picture to see a couple dozen more photos). Additional / current photographs are also available upon request.
He will consider an outright sale too. Asking $25,000 as a roller (less motor/tranny) or $45,000 with the current SBC and 1.76 pro tree 10 clutch powerglide. 1.82 pro tree powerglide also included for the $45,000 price tag. Give him a call at 731-613-9192 between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. for particulars on the motor and to discuss your trade.
This isn't a must-sell situation, he's just testing the water to see what's out there.
Thanks for looking!
