Loose Door Window

I replaced all the window hardware for the drivers side window. I had to remove the window to tighten the round plastic guide that attaches to the window glass and slides in the front metal guide. Is there something I can do to prevent the plastic guide from getting loose from the glass? I was looking at the design. The screw causes the back side of the plastic to expand against the glass, causing it to tighten. I could put a larger screw or use a screw with a nylon lock nut. I don't think they sell just the plastic piece. The whole kit is about $80. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Sorry for the delayed response. I think I repaired the problem by using a piece of wire to prevent the screw from loosening. Thanks
