Hi All. I have a 1970 Challenger R/T 383 Magnum, 4-speed manual transmission. The transmission is not the original, it's from a B-body (0A######). What would be the pressure plate diameter? I'm thinking it's an 11 inch? An issue that I have is when letting the clutch out going in reverse, 1st gear, and 3rd gear I hear grinding. On the road the car won't go into third gear. I checked the linkage and it appears to be ok. I put transmission fluid in it so I don't think that's the problem. I think I need a new clutch/pressure plate/throwout bearing. Any info on a good vendor who sells a heavy duty clutch setup would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have always used McLeod for clutches , Ram & Zoom also work .
130 tooth uses a 10.95" clutch
143 tooth use a different 11" set up
Do not waste your time with a 10.5 " , thy were designed for the 318

Thanks for that info, Chryco Psycho. I'll keep that in mind on the clutches.
