Mirrors Challenger R/T

HI ...Hope someone can help .... I have a 70 Challenger R/T with G33 on the fender tag which accounts for a LH side chrome remote racing mirror ....no code for a passenger side mirror on the fender tag so was a RHT mirror an option on the 70 R/T challenger or could that have shown on a broadcast sheet ?

Yes the Right mirror was an option which simply sounds crazy today , there would be a different code for L&R mirrors possibly G34
SO your Chall came only with the left mirror .

Mirror codes on e bodies can be very confusing.
When I review mirror codes in the A66 Registry, I see a lot of G33 and G34 solo left side mirrors. A lot of the A66 mirror codes come up as a combo of G33 and G31 or G34 and G32 combined.

Here are the codes for Mopar mirrors:

G30​	69-71	Delete mirrors
G31​	69-71	OS RH Manual Standard Mirror
G32​	70-71	OS RH Manual Racing Mirror
G33​	69	OS LH Remote Standard Mirror
G33​	70-71	OS LH Remote Racing Mirror
G34​	70-71	OS LH Remote Racing Mirror
G35​	69-71	Delete Standard Outside Mirror

My 71 rt has none of these codes, just G11 and currently has 2 aftermarket ones on it. Anyway to tell what may have been oem? Build sheet disintegrated. Just figured I'd ask on this thread since I seen it.

Merlin , all cars had a std Left mirror minimum so likely no code = std left side mirror as there was no upgrade from the base PKG
My car has only 5 options on it so it also had only a base left mirror & I don't recall it having a code , this is one of the Only modifications I made when I restored the car , so now it has dual painted racing mirrors which is not stock but being an SE it is ludicrous that with the massive blind spot that the factory did not add dual mirrors with all SE pkg cars ! I mean really you have the smaller back window what would the cost be for a second mirror with the SE pkg maybe $5

Believe G11 is tinted glass I know a high G number is your mirror package ..delete mirrors was an option ....crazy it was G30 ....you had to have at least a LH Mirror if you did not have the delete mirror code

Yes agree with you 100% ....your comment made me laugh thats how I feel and I don't have an SE with the smaller back window ....both high end models SE and RT and they stick you with one mirror at the best ....who was the brain behind that one LOL ...I have duels original or not like to know whats around me when I drive ....Stay safe
