motor plate mounting

I have seen it done both ways. Either should work just fine. If you have snout bars I would run an upper mount to them. Going to go with a set up kind of like this in my Duster but have not got around to it yet. Here is a few pics.

you will pull stock mounts apart , but using Poly lock type mounts you can get 500 HP to stay together , the mounts interlock so they cannot be pulled apart . the plates are more ridgid but also interfere with alt & power steering mounting etc on the street

Thanks for the input, guys.
Attached is a pic of the motor plate I have.
It is sandwiched between tabs welded to frame at the bottom holes.
No snubber bars but looking into it. Pic also attached.
