So basically I took my Challenger, to my bumper to bumper Mopar Mechanic. Basically he is truly a Mopar king who has been doing it over 40 years. Even done couple of the Mopar cars in 2 of the Fast and Furious movie.
Amongst some of the quotes he gave me for fixing up my Challenger. He quoted me $7500-$9500 to completely restore my interior. But as I was looking inside my car today with couple of my mopar buddies I met out here in Los Angeles. They actually said my interior is still nice and able to repaint and reuse. Its currently blue and wanted to make it all black. So of course I'll have to buy brand new carpet(black), from what I was told I'll have to buy the seat covers and foam for my seats. Also, I think I will want to attempt to do my interior myself.
So my question is, from my dash board to the plastic moldings(not sure if thats what it is called) what kind of paint will I need? And do you guys think this is something I'll be able to accomplish or am I better off paying someone to do it for me?
