Hello everyone. Im more into B Bodies and recently joined but wanted to share the only E body in my collection of unrestored cars. Purchased in 2020 from the original owner a retired college professor from Penn State. Amazingly he kept every single document and repair order since new including shopping comparison notes and his admission ticket to the Watkins Glen Trans Am series. This FC7 column shift AAR is totally original with exception to roof and trunk painted. Just when you think a situation like this can never happen here's proof the cars are still out there.

Absolutely beautiful... dream car is an AAR and this would have to be one of the top two colors for one... Would love to hear more about it, are you driving it much? what does it need?

Thank you ! I had to go over carbs and also correct some maintenance item things under the hood. It runs real good starts right up on the choke. My first E body ever...couldn't find or afford them even when I was a kid. Feels a lot more sporty to drive than big B Bodies :)

Congrats and welcome to the site from Michigan!
Cool back in the day pictures. Nice looking gal, lamb chops and clothes hanger rod in the back.
The AAR looks nice and cozy in that great looking garage between your Road Runner and GTX.

Thank you ! His honeymoon trip was the only time the car seen snow. She had an Oldsmobile and it became 'their' every day car

Beautiful car!
Haven't seen one available in that condition since 1985.
Resist the urge to over restore. From the one picture, it looks like it needs very little.

Man... an E body makes a B body feel like a land yacht!

Until you get over 120mph.
I have z rated tires, low front, 1 1/8" front bar, rear bar and manual steering. Still feels like it wants to swap ends at speed.
My 71 B cruises at 130 effortlessly with 2.76 gears.
But yes, cudas are nimble!

:welcome: aboard. Great score. How did you come across it ?
Thank you ! It was on Hemmings for a day or two with a very high price. I wasn't going to even call but I couldn't stop thinking about 'a one owner AAR'. We had an educated conversation so then I drove there next day. Another buyer had been there earlier in the day so he gave us each one chance with highest bid. It was in a steel building way up in the woods just off the interstate. I was so upset leaving there without an answer I got back on the interstate going the wrong direction then realized a half hour later LOL...got home and got the call it's my car by $500. Compared to the advertised price it was $25k less which taught me another lesson to always try. To go a step further the other buyer ending calling me weeks later and when I told him what part of Pa he then lead me to another purchase- original paint black black 4speed Hemi Satellite. I'm always looking but two in a row was incredible luck !
