New Gas Gauge stopped working?

Anyone have issues with the OEM brand of replacement gauges. I bought a gas gauge tested it and it seemed to work then when I installed it it just stopped working. The other gauges are working fine. I know the sending unit is tested fine. The old gas gauge was working just fine but the needle was messed up.

I'm leaning toward a bad sending unit or ground strap. These aftermarket s.u.'s really bite the big one.

thanks for the reply, I have check all that and it's good, the old gauge workedit just got stuck. OER senme another gauge when I have time I'll change it out, and hopefully I'll have better luck with that one.
