I have been saving this distributor for a special build for a long time and now that the time has come to use it in my 1968 Barracuda build with a 340 I have changed my mind. I was told back when I received it that this is a factory 1971 340 duel point distributor that has never been installed in a motor. It is in new shape not a re-build or a refurbished part, the part number is CHRYSLER 3438522 and under that is a number IBS-4018C 360 The distributor gurus on the A body site have pretty much filled me in on it and have informed me that the E body members would most likely be interested in it. I have been told that this is easily a $900.00 distributor and that the cap alone would go for $150.00 if not more. I am going to offer this to you guys first before it hit's the auction sites, $900.00 for the whole thing cap and all plus insured shipping from Michigan and if paying with PayPal you pick up the 4% PayPal fees.
