Need some more help guys, Building this 71 Challenger 340/ 833 4spd. Had to pull transmission again as I found motor has cast crank so flywheel had to come off for balancing and new harmonic. Anyway, I noticed pilot shaft bushing is now ob-longed. It was brand new and has maybe 3 miles on it. Could that come from engine being out of balance. I had no problem putting trans in the 2 other times and I sized it properly with end shaft when I installed it. Whats up.
Thanks
Steve

Most likely it it due to out of balancce condition- I think it's Mancini that carries a roller bearing for the input shaft... I know I overlooked the balance weight on the convertor when i put a 727 in my 340 Dart- front pump lasted 6 miles- long walk home and this fat boy burned a few calories.
