Hello everyone.
I have a question that maybe someone can help answer: I'm not sure if they ever put these on Mopars from the factory or not, but they are 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.
...I have (2) sets of Original 15" x 7" Kelsey-Hayes wheels available for sale. I have seen these on 1969-'70 Shelby Mustangs, and I've seen them on Mopars before, but I'm not sure if they were ever a factory option.
These are a two piece constructed wheel, that the center is riveted to the outer rim (see pics), and not welded like the repop wheels are. They are in very good condition, but are not perfect. Most of these wheels do not have any scratches on the tapered seat where the lug nuts go, showing that they may have never been installed on a vehicle. They were in storage for many years in a semi trailer that had a leaking roof. Subsequently, the boxes they were in were destroyed, and there is some minor rust/pitting on the outer chrome portion of the wheel.
I'm not quite sure how much these are worth, but the new welded repop wheels are $1200 per set, so I'm guessing that an original riveted set is worth at least that much. There were no center caps or lug nuts with these wheels, so those will have to be obtained elsewhere. I am located in S/E MI., and will ship where needed.
Please let me know if you have any insight as to whether or not Mopar ever offered these as a wheel option. ...Also, if the price is in line or not.
Thanks, Jeff. :3gears:

Thanks Challenger6pak!
So, ...do you think that these were primarily used on the Ford/Shelby cars then? I think they're a really cool looking wheel (and they do fit the 5 on 4-1/2" big Mopar pattern).
What about the price? Am I inline with fair market value? Also, if these were not an option on any of the Mopars, should I remove the ad?
Thanks, Jeff.

I would try a Shelby site and see what you can find out. Someone may need them there.
