I'm an old guy, so I went "old school" on the tire/rims, to FILL the Wheelwells up.

I Never liked the BIG WHEEL thing personally anyways,
No matter,
my 700 hp Pump Gas 422 Inch small block NEEDS Traction with the larger Balonies for straight line stuff, so I went with 29 X 12.5 X 15 Hoosiers(#19150).
It all fits great, gives a nice Pro-Street stance with everything tucked underneath, and plenty of clearance with the B-Body Rear and relocated Springs(could have gone bigger yet) on the 15X9 Welds.

The best part, the old school Tires & Wheels are CHEAP, at a fraction of the cost for the newer 17", 18" etc stuff.

Very nice.

When it comes to wheels and tire sizes, though, for me, it comes down to build your car the way you want it.
