Hey everyone. I have two questions on my 70 challenger. First I'm installing a new 4 speed hump on a new floor pan and need to know how much of the floor pan actually needs to be removed under the hump? Second is I need the name of the part or a AMD part number for the part under the tail panel. The rear frame rails are welded to the back side of it and I think the rear valance brackets are bolted

Rear Cross Rail. Classic Industries part number MM1284B may be the part you're looking for.

Agreed. You need to remove nearly all of it for clearance. Use a pneumatic body saw, they are cheap, fast, and easy to cut on a line. Take measurements of any console brackets you may have, but verify fit with the console and shifter location.
