Radiator to hood seal?

I just bought this today, could someone post a picture of one installed so I know how it goes?

It should look pretty obvious once you hold it up to bottom of the hood.

The open end faces forward.....when I got my 71 years ago the previous owner had lots of misc parts the hood seal was one and for the longest I did not know where that thing went.....
