radio speakers

being that i have to get a new dash pad, i was wondering to put the speakers in the dash. have installed 6 x 9s in the rear/4" in the kick panels. Recommendations for the dash speakers.

It depends on your radio. Is it stock or aftermarket? Aside from whatever fits, the speakers should be matched to the audio output type. I had SMS electro tech retro fit my stock am radio to am/fm, aux input, and they were specific on which type of speakers to use.

no radio yet, front on rear are matched------are dash speakers 3"

According to this thread: The center speaker is 4x10 and two 3 1/2 speakers if you have a three speaker dash, not all of them do.

Excellent link Adam, glad that the magnet size was addressed in Reply #3. I had to open up my dash frame too ages ago. Not sure but I think there might be 3 1/2's with smaller magnets out there today.
