Hello everyone so a friend of mine has a real 73 Cuda 340 4spd car that he was planning to restore. He's known for the past 6 years or so that I want the car but was never ready to part with it. Lately though he has hinted that due to other projects he may be willing to sell me the car in the near future. I know this is by no means a 70 or 71 Cuda but it is still a relatively rare car. It has the original 4 speed but the 340 is long gone unfortunately. Just wanted everyone's opinions on what the value of one of these cars may be in this condition? TIA guys!

If the rust isn't bad, I'd call it $8k-ish.

How are the floor pans, trunk etc? Body looks good and straight, if there's no issues with the floors and frame I agree with quapman. It also depends on where you live - up in NY where I live the seller would be asking 12 - 15k but I think 8k is reasonable for that car minus the motor and the rough looking interior. Good luck, hope you are able to acquire that beauty and get her back on the road.

I'm curious about the antenna on the rear quarter. I'm definitely no expert but was that typical for that year. Also, didn't see any sign of cuda emblem on tail panel above the "By Plymouth" emblem. I'm just still learning the differences in the e bodies by year. Also, wasn't it late in the 73 year model that the rear bumper guards were added ( like the 74's). Noticed the difference in the front and rear. Not questioning what you've got there; trying to learn that kind of stuff. Good luck in getting that and bringing it back to life! It will make a nice one.

It doesn't much matter what we all think it's worth; what matters is how badly do you want it and what is your friend willing to accept?

I'm curious as to what else is in the barn and what's with all the rear leaf springs on the wall?

I'm curious if this guy is going to return after his one and only post.
