On my 71 challenger the right side rear wheel sits out 1/2 inch further than the left.. i noticed this on my 70 and 73 challengers i have owned in the past. Do any of your e-bodies have this problem?

Hard to say realy. Could be the body is off too. Factory tolerances being what they were back then.

That's not uncommon. Mine was offset to the passenger also. I centered it when I put the dana in.

I noticed that my engines would sit more towards the right side of the compartment than the left. I was told that this was to align the offset of the pinion gear. Looking at the rearend and the offset of the pinion, I'm guessing that is why the rearends are set 1/2 inch towards the right. Just an observation.

71plym beautiful car! What Dana are you running under there? Looks like a B body with some 3/4" off set shackle/perches. The fit really looks nice.
