how is those seat brackets install?? do they go inside the body part or are they secured by a bolt to the body on the outside?? what are those threaded holes for---71 challenger.

The loop on the seat back bolts to the outside of the bracket with a bolt/washer. The loop does not fit behind the bracket towards trunk. Won't work that way.
