lost the original hood release cable. ordered a new one. it comes with a loop at the end. can make it work. HOWEVER, when is disassembled the car, I have a memory of the cable attaching to the back of the hood latch. it was a bit of a struggle to get it undone from the latch. can't find any reference to how I reinstall
