That is a nice car in a cool color
1078 340 RT Challengers produced
Butterscotch was estimated at about
5.5% of production. Pretty rare.

$20000 for that? Wow.
Not my car!! Was just passing along.
Looks pretty solid to me dude, I’ve got half of that in just sheet metal on my car. Wish I statarted with that. Only thing he doesn’t mention is interior.

If the sheetmetal is all solid as the seller describes, it's in the $15-18K ballpark. When I see "easy restoration", I want to run away.

I agree on your valuation but I think 20k is a fair asking price. You gotta start somewhere.

Gonna be my first E body. I have always heard if you want an E Body you gotta pay a little more. They are really nice people, and have owned it the last 12 years. I pick it up the first week in July. Might stop by Matt’s and let him check it out on my way back. Here is a pic of the fender tag they sent me.

Not to hijack, but I really wish I'd had the money a month ago to grab a really nice 71 R/T 340 Auto for $27k! :( We're talking drive it home and enjoy type of thing.

"The motor is 100% original. It has been 100% rebuilt." ????
He said it was original and rebuilt. Unfortunately the sale didn’t go through. They were willing to take $18K for it, but the higherest I could come up with was $16k. The car was also further disassembled from the original post at this point. Instead I picked up a 1970 R/T SE for half the price that is a four speed car on eBay.
