Shoulder Belt Clips

Getting ready to install headliner. Looks like the shoulder belt clip brackets need to go on before headliner. Two of my Clips are larger than the other two. These are the originals from this car. I did not remove them. Does it matter which is front or rear clip? I compared to the holes in the roof and they cold be put in either spot. Some are bent out of shape a little.

NO for 70 71. I'm thinking you don't have right clips. Someone might respond that knows better.

This is 72 model with bucket seats. Old headliner remains are still sandwiched between the bracket and the clip. I have removed the plastic cover from the clip so the bracket could be separated from the clip. These are the original clips from this car.

I will put the shorter one at the front. Seems like this would be better since that is where the interior roofline starts to curve and I think it will be easier to stow the strap that way.
