I have a set of full floating pistons with wrist pins and C clip retainers still in the Chrysler parts division cardboard boxes with part number 3621 352 on the box and stamped on the top of the pistons and 3671155 cast into the inside of the skirt. Any idea what these are for or where I could maybe find out?

3671155 Pistons

Good Morning!

I was going to email you this morning and say that those are for a 340.
However, my stock 1972 340 has original pistons in it. I saved them and they are cast with 3671154 inside, so yours 'may' be oversized. To my knowledge, the only small block pistons with floating pins are the 340.

You might get ahold of a set of 4 to 5 inch micrometers and check the
size of your piston set. Does yours have the 4 reliefs cut into the top, or 2??? Mine have the 4 and that may be a difference... Good luck and
Cheers!!! Mike
