Somernites Cruise-in in Somerset KY will have Mopar Mania the 4th weekend in May. Took the 68 Cuda and 70 Challenger last year. Had a great time.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Do you have any pics to share with us from the show last year? I just checked out your album, nice cars. That Challenger is gorgeous in that color, more details please.

I have some pics of the '68 on "For A Bodies Only" website. I think you can navigate to it from this one. I have the same username - not very creative but I'm getting old and don't want to remember who I am all the time. lol

Sorry, I don't have any pics of the Somernites show. It is a weekend event with Don Marshall sponsoring a cruise-in at his dealership on Friday. The local mall sponsors cruise-ins on Friday night and Saturday night. The big cruise-in is on Saturday in the heart of downtown Somerset, KY. They have a nice downtown area, plenty of restaurants and a nice fountain where you can sit in the shade.

Thanks for the compliment on my Challenger. I've only had her for about 3 years but am in love! The color is called Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with the interior color the same name. She is a real RT/SE with a 383 Magnum, 727 torqueflite and posi. She has working air and factory power windows, which I did not realize this car had back in the day. I have the original window sticker and basically everything that could be ordered was. The only difference is the person who had her before me removed the luggage rack and put on a spoiler. Not complaining, I prefer the spoiler but I probably would have put on a TA spoiler. This has been one of my dream cars since they came out. My mother bought a 383 in November of 1969. I was fortunate to be able to drive her in 1973-74, that is until my idiot brother totaled the car while drunk. My other dream car I found about 5 years ago, a 1968 cuda fastback with a 383 (pics of her are on the For A-Bodies Only website.).

I would love to see a pic of that burnt orange interior, it's my favorite interior color for the '70 model year. Your car is stunning!
