Thats not good.Last set I bought, and it will be the only set I buy, had the rocker shaft stands cut with a radius larger than the rocker shaft radius. The shaft rolled around in the stand and I had to mill the radius to correct size and add shims to get the shaft back to the correct height. They're inexpensive but I recommend getting something else.
Never really been sold on the Ally heads apart from the weight have a set of E/Q heads on my 3.79 Molnar stroker N&A done the porting said the intakes were great but the exhaust was choked up & couldn't breath after porting & bowl hog they were better than the Eddies see pic nothing wrong with J heads its just i have to bore out the pushrod holes to run roller liftersYears ago when I was still at the head shop a guy had a set of Pro Comp heads on a small block Chev he dropped a valve so we had to replace a cracked guide, weld the damaged chamber and fit a new insert the castings didn't seem too bad but I guess they don't make as many Chrysler heads so maybe haven't sorted out all the problems yet. I have seen porous Edelbrock head castings that leaked like a sieve on the pressure tester and they are supposed to be good. Maybe play it safe and go with some Engine Quest or Chrysler 308 cast iron heads. I am going to just stick with the J heads on my 340 build but your probably after more power then me.
