Do they sell a kit to rebuild a steering column? I need new wiring and I might as well redo all the bushings, and replacement parts while i'm at it, but I can't seem to find new wiring for it. Mine is a 71 challenger with floor shifter. Any help or ideas?

Check with BURDAR , he recently rebuilt his. Glad to see that you didn't throw everything away. Welcome back.

I threw all kinds of things away. I just didn't post it. Guess i am the bigger man here, cause at least I don't jack your threads like you do mine.

Get a quality turn signal switch / wiring harness, the cheapo ones are crap. The bearing at the top of the column is easy and inexpensive so u might as well change it while you're in there. Might want to clean up the horn contacts too. The ignition switch is a seperate part from the ignition lock if either of those need changing, re-keying, ect. Lastly, get a new coupler or coupler rebuild kit; there is no lower bearing on that column and it will help tighten things up if yours is worn.

Hi guys,
How does the coupling come off after removing the steering box?
