.010. eagle h beam rods installed. I have the original rods too. Bottom end balanced. The engine has low hours, but due to sitting years between being started the cylinders got moisture. And a cam lobe started to wear. Not sure if the torque plate honed .020 bores will clean up or need to bored .030? Two cylinders? The block is clean no sleeves or stripped threads.
The T/A heads do not appear to have had machine work done and have been magnafluxed. I have all the valves and springs but missing the keepers. The T/A rockers and shafts are in good shape. I also have the original push rods.
I am asking $8900. OBO
I am located outside of Portland Oregon
Thanks for looking

Yes the last 2 seems to be a different font.
These blocks must have been on a stand when marked as mine is only half on the number pad would have been in a hard position to apply the pneumatic marking tool if it missed they may have finished off with a hand set
on a lot of block the number appears to be double stamped slightly off the first set
I spoke with the chap that had my TA he bought it when he returned from Vietnam
The original engine blew in its first year & the warranty replacement was not marked

Is this motor the warranty replacement block then?
When I purchased my first T/A in 1979 it had already blown the original motor and had a warranty block in it. It had no VIN on the raised boss and also had a riveted tag to the side of the block indicating it was a factory replacement. The tag had a few digits stamped into it.

Took paint stripper to ID pad. And took picture. Hopefully some clarity one way or another.

It is strange how the last #2 is different from the others I have seen both types used but they are usually all the same type in the same VIN.

Can you post pics of the casting date on the side of the block?

Here ya go. The last digit was not clear so I removed some paint. Did not make a difference.
