Did not get any response on taillight hardware. So want to ask, if 70 taillight hardware is different than 71? Bought 70 hardware, because they told me it is the same for 71? But looking at what I took off, and what is in the bag. There are lots of differences. 70 has shorter screws, and different nuts. Plus no self tapping screws (4) each side.

I’ve been through this the reproductions don’t look anything close to the originals. It looks like you still have your original hardware you should just get it re plated.

Yes, have just half the original hardware. Hoping someone had the other half they could spare. Really don't care if it is all rusty or crusty.

Any pictures to show what they look like. I had no luck on a Google search.

There is a Pic. The 12 pieces I got pictured. The 4 nuts, 4 studs, and 4 self tapping screws are correct for 71. That will put together 1 taillight housing. I need another setthat I have pictured.

Yea that was the same headache I had I was missing 3 or the original studs and nuts it took me awhile to find them.

If you don’t care if they are crusty or rusty I might have a couple I’ll have to look.

Because I had to buy a couple sets to find enough to make a complete good set.

I appreciate that. I found correct nuts, but they want 25 plus shipping for 8 of them. Crusty and rusty are fine. The studs on 70 are shorter than 71. Found 8 studs 8 plus shipping. Never found the self tapping screws.

Here's what I have. If interested, mailing from Canada in a padded envelope would be $4.85CAD.
I recall making studs once for a set of chrome bezels. Got some long 8x32 screws, cut to length, ground the end threads, chased them with a die.
I'd be interested in seeing the link for those correct nuts.
