I have a mildly built 318 and good functioning 904 but it needs more stall due to the camshaft I chose (too much). Is it worth investing in the 904 or should I try finding a 727? I plan on building a 340 when I find one. Can anyone recommend a 2000-2500 rpm converter for the 904? I have read that the 904 is a more efficient transmission and requires less power but obviously the 727 is more durable. Thanks.
