Got the motor/trans into my Challenger and got the shift linkages hooked up but can't get it to shift into reverse. It is a 4 speed with the Hurst shifter. Even when i unhook all the shift linkages,,, the shift lever by itself won't go into reverse either. I lined up all three levers on the shifter and put a bolt through the neutral alignment hole for proper adjustment,, but it just don't seem to go into reverse. It worked fine and free when it was out of the car and all four other gears shift nice and smooth. Has anyone else ever had this problem??
