Underbody paint

Factory correct is just gray primer and body color over spray along the outside edges. But most everyone paint the whole underbody with body color for better protection.

Main floorpan was grey primer/sealer with exterior paint color overspray fading in from the sides. Wheelwells are body color with masked undercoating in unique patterns with slight variances as it was done by hand.
Google “Comeback Cuda” to see a lot of photos for a restored Cuda convertible by Mopar Connection magazine (Kevin Shaw).

I agree with @moparlee. Most paint it all body color. It is your call on the level of originality you are wanting to achieve.

you could paint it with grey paint that is the color of the primer ..paint will protect it from the elements primer won't

I was lucky with most of the floor of my A66 vert. Bought her in 79 and stored in 1984; underneath in many places still shows the grey paint and Y1 overspray!
