Whar is this ???

What is the round thing in the middle of the pic?? It is right above where the diff snubber would hit,this is on my 70 cuda 4 spd car. there is a screw in the middle of it. Does it hold the ebrake cable?? Thanks in advance, Darryl

Good question. I think the e-brake cables would have run along the frame rails on both sides so there would have been no need for a hanger in the middle like that.
