Why is there such a large gap? Just got the bumper back from the chrome shop. Tight in the center but wide on the ends.

Your in the wrong hole. Surprise! I have done that. Just reached around and stuck it in the first hole I found there.
Sorry to seem stupid but what is in the wrong hole? The bracket or the bumper? Seems if I move something the alignment will still be off. I have a video but can’t upload to here.

There are holes back further on the frame. At lest on mine take a look. The other thing do you have the right bracket?
Almost seems like the bumper shape does not match the car shape. The bumper and brackets came off another barracuda, possibly a 71? The bumpers had the same slots but the should be the same. If I move the bracket back the center will be too close. Nothing seems to go smoothly on these cars. You hate and love them at the same time.

Needs more angle.
My factory bumper got bumped, and I pushed the peak out with a porta power.
A rechrome might crack if you straighten it. You might have to go back and complain.
And yes I know that is likely to go nowhere.
Now I just buy the AMD and live with it.
They are quoting $800 to do a straight cuda bumper now.
Soon, all cars will have urethane as they will be cheaper than chrome.
