My two favorite E bodies at Carlisle were the 19 mile Dan Grotheer '71 HEMI 'Cuda and a '70 HEMI Challenger R/T seen in the swap meet. I wish I had have asked the owner of the Challenger the history of the car. It looked like a survivor to me but I don't know.

It was surprising to see an original 70 Challenger RT Hemi in the swap meet area for sale! The car was an original automatic car converted to a 4 speed. Original Rallye hood car with shaker added.

I was also surprised to see the Dan Grotheer 71 Hemi Cuda in the car corral. What a car! Nice restoration Jason.

I liked the purple AAR next to me from Sweden, and the beige Challenger. I'm recovering from surgery...so didn't get a chance to look at much.

MonsterCuda was my favorite cuda.

over 4000 hours of work on welding, bodywork, paint work and assembly labor as I understood it.

That's over 2 years at 40 hours a week.What was the shop rate $50 $100 an hour? Add 2 more 0s $400000

I would have to pick from the above the 70 Challenger R/T Hemi.It looks rough and ready to rip and tear. To have a bast in as it was meant to be! Was there a price on it? I would call it and the plate would read BLUBYU.

My fav this year was this '70 Hemi. The color combo and quality of the resto just blew me away. Gotta say though, there were so many beautiful E Bodies and just Mopars in general at this years record attendance show. Monstercuda was also amazing.

This hemi seems that it was one of the favorites of the show.
I really like the T5 interior on this car. BL1 is really kinda lame.
I mean BL1 looks great on a C body. But an E, well, I kinda expect a little flashy out of an R code.

I should have taken mine. I could have competed with Monster Cuda with my Monster Challenger.

@BriceRoad

Did you get a picture of the vin tag or the fender tag of the "hemi" challenger?

Did the blue 1970 Hemi Challenger have the additional "HEMI FENDER" tag attached?

The Grotheer 1971 Hemicuda was missing the "HEMI FENDER" tag.
