I sold my RR Clone and am considering a 70 Cuda, NOM 383 4bbl, 4spd, shaker hood, black guts, restored, 70hp block.

He's asking $35k.

Any advice to current market value would be appreciated.

I have about 26k to spend all cash.

What is numbers matching; engine, transmission, alternator, water pump, etc.? Is the car the original color? Is it a 4 speed or automatic from the factory? Does it have a build sheet or fender tag? These all make a difference in what the car is worth.

Did you get a buyer for your car ?? Looks like it. I know , you said you were having trouble with the prospective buyer.

That car might not be 100 percent correct, but it's a real big block '70 'Cuda. I say it's worth at least 30K.
I'm glad you found a buyer for your car, have fun on your search for your 'Cuda.

Looking at just pics it is hard to say. I am sure the owner priced it a little high so that he could go down some and make a deal. If it is as nice as it looks in pics, I personally would say $30,000 - $32,000. It still needs finishing. It is missing the shaker hood seal. Rain or a car wash will flood the engine with water. It doesn't look like there are any drain tubes off of the shaker either. No red bars in the grille. Who knows what else is missing. Looks like the original seat foam is in the seats. The new covers aren't tight in all the right places. Now you have wrinkles. In the future you will have wear lines and possibly cracks in the covers due to worn foam. It has to be seen in person to really establish a value. It's a nice looking car that will get thumbs up everywhere it goes.
