Wheel Trim Rings/Beauty Rings

Talking about original equipment 14 inch wheels here.
In 1971 - Do the W23 Road Wheel and the Rallye wheel use the same style and width of beauty ring.

Yes those 14" rings were used on road and rallye wheels from 1970 to something like 1978 or 80. They fit 5.5" and 6" rims. Google mopar 2944424 and you'll come up with a lot of pics of them.

I saw a picture of a ring for sale that had a slight lip turned up at the inner edge and wondered if they were different. The only ones I had any knowledge of are like the one in your picture.
Classic Industries does them in two widths 2.5 and 3 inches and they seem to be reasonably priced.

I think the ones with the turned up inner edge are 1969 only, they also have 4 retaining tabs while the 70 & up have the tabs all the way around. The 1969 rings are very hard to find and very expensive when they do turn up.

I have another question for you.
In 1971 do you think the trim rings would have most likely been 2.5 inch or the 3 inch version?

2.5 at the most, always brushed finished originally

That is what the car has on it - I always assumed they were reproductions because I saw a post that said they should be 3 inch, but maybe not.
