Wide tires for 14x6 wheels

What's the biggest tire that will fit the 14x6 factory wheels. I've been told 245/60. Biggest meaning that also works well. Thanks.

I would not run much bigger than that. I am running 235's on my 14X5 rallys and think that is pushing it a bit. But so far so good.

I called Mickey Thompson once to see if I could use a certain width tire on a rim. He told me +/- an inch tread width on that wheel is how they figure rim size for tires but I would run those(245/60) on the rims and not give it a second thought.
