Asking if the AAR fiberglass hoods used the spring loaded alignment wedges located on the front fenders. Thanks again

Not sure if it’s relevant but T/As had the wedges.

Thanks.
Appears they are different from steel hood alignment wedges or i got a poorly reproduced part. The set i have, the mounting holes for the small Phillips head screws do not "line up". not close at all.

The same wedge was used on all E-bodies and all hoods, steel and fiberglass. They were also the same on C-bodies in 1970, and started on the B-bodies as well in 1971 when the fender attachment changed from the earlier vertical mount to the horizontal mount style as used on the E-bodies. The misalignment may be a reproduction part issue, or fender issue if you have aftermarket/reproduction fenders. Used originals can take a little tweaking to get in place at times too.
