Great. looks like those might have been removed before. Dodge used a large washer on the bumper parts for better strength and support. I also have a new front bumper for that as well. Still in the wrapping paper as well as many other Challenger interior and electrical parts, New chrome headlight...

Here are some pics of the bumper bracket and reinforcement/mounting plate. Look up part numbers # 3686582 and 368583 you will find it is the factory number for 1973 Challenger rear bumper Brackets. And this is the Factory 1973 bumper reinforcement plate The items that you have are for 1974.

Those are the correct brackets and only work with the proper reinforcement plate. Those are the ones that I have. I have the whole setup .

Correct option would be to put the car back to the correct height and not worry about having to make something fit that shouldn't be there.
