    72 cuda 440. ride height from rear bumper to slab 21" same on both sides. 17" rim, 255/45 zr17. pulled bottom of shock, it dropped down about 6" Jacked shock up only went 1" above ride height. looked on summit they have different shocks for Cuda than Barracuda. WHY? MY question is do I need...

    new flywheel cleaned shipping oil off with a solvent both flywheel & pressure plate. Ill drive around some if it does not go away ILL BE BACK !

    Does that mean the grabby wont ever go away. taking off slow in reverse really shakes the car

    I finally got around to changing the clutch, pressure plate & fly wheel. Clutch & pressure is from ACT. Engine is a 440. my new problem now is when I slip the clutch to take off slowly it is real grabby & chatters until full out. is there a brake in procedure to follow or am I in Trouble again?

    That is what I planned to do putting the steering column back in for the measurement. them remove it to cut to length.     Now that I have the old steering box out. What do I do with it? Is any one in need of a used 72 cuda steering box or is it just junk now?

    I did find the small pin but unfortunately I had already pulled the column down and the punch just bounces. so I will go with Chryco Psycho suggestion and pull the floor plate and pull the whole thing out. Thanks for your help!

    trying to install a new Borgeson steering box and am having trouble removing my steering column. The hole in firewall is not big enough to remove it with the old universal joint on. How would I go About removing that coupler? It is a 72 cuda floor shift.
