What should be the clearance between the pilot bushing and input shaft? 0.002-0.003", or 0.003-0.005" I've been told both specs. If clearance isn't there is it better to machine bushing prior to installation, or ream bushing by hand after installing? Assume one should prevent run out in excess...
Seems ok until you get about 2" from full up, then it appears as if the glass need to rotate counter- clockwise. The top back of the glass sits about 3/8"over the metal of the back window. Where exactly are the stops?
I'm using a harness from the same company. Are you running a one wire alternator as it calls for? I'm debating it since I've got a new 85 amp alt, hate to spend the xtra cash for another new one.
My 70 has 73 front spindles and the calipers are towards the back. I've had no issues with them.
Anyone upgraded the rear (8 3/4") to disc, and if so did you have to change the master cylider?
I've got one that's stumping me...Cuda's showing normal charge, jumping to over charge, then back to normal while driving at a constant RMP. Any idea where I need to begin checking for the issue?
Thanx
