Charging Question

I've got one that's stumping me...Cuda's showing normal charge, jumping to over charge, then back to normal while driving at a constant RMP. Any idea where I need to begin checking for the issue?

check and clean wires and bulkhead connections. You might have a bad wire grounding.

Make sure the reg is grounded also check the bulkhead connectors for corrosion, also check the back of the ammeter & make sure the connections are tight there .

Turns out a combination of poor ground and bad voltage regulator. Thanx for the assistance.
