Thats what I was doing but when I was cranking the engine with a rachet it stopped like it hit something , I backed it back and did the same , when I went clockwise again it went smooth , so not sure what happened but it moves now .
My Cuda has been sitting since Jan 1 , I finally have the oil and trans pan on and lowered it to start on top , I new the 1 cyl. was at top and I wanted to see if it was comp or exhaust so I started to hand crank it clockwise and it did not go far till it stopped , I then went counter clockwise...
What are you supposed to have on the center link for nuts and the copper pins , do both have nuts and copper pins or nut and copper pin to tie rod and lock nut on the idler arm , im tired so may not be making sense but just looking for clarification if possible.
I tried my best but I started at the trans because I knew the k-menber holes would suck , my last hole I couldn't get the bolt in , I kept trying then heard a piece of metal drop in the pan , so I took it off and found the little metal ring broke off on the gasket , which is rubber with metal...

Good to hear someone else has the same as me , I have them at 11 ft lbs , hopefully good there , and I will recheck after it gets running . Do you remember how many qrts of trans fluid you used .
