    1971 383 carb

My 71 383 4spd build sheet decoded to R4667. About 20 years ago I contacted over 20 people looking for one, finally found a R4667-3 or dash something. I had it restored/rebuilt it runs great to this day. Every year at Carlisle I look at every core that resembles it and have never seen another one.

    VIN Door Decal Month Determination

One more thing continuing my post above. I was ordering a date coded exhaust manifold from Tony’s and he had me check the date on the block near the distributor and that was also 908, I know for a fact it is the original numbers matching engine and when I had it rebuilt I made sure that they...

    VIN Door Decal Month Determination

Mine is B131690 door and build sheet and fender tag 908. It has 70 console, 70 rear view mirror and seat backs, crumple hood. Also has carpet on the door panels although it’s a R/T not SE. I have owned it since 1976. My belief has always been it left the factory that way,

Chryslers@Carlisle 2024- Great show Great meeting some of you!

Great show. My first time back since Covid, I’ll take the heat better than rain. Still a fair amount of used parts, but a lot of the businesses with legit reproduction parts were not there. Mega, Vans, ECS, Accurate Exhaust, Dynamic Renovations, Metro weather stripping, Quanta gas tanks. I...

    Stop light/brake light switch bolt

71 Ebody manual transmission, power brakes. I am trying to identify the correct bolt that holds the stop/brake light switch to the pedal assembly bracket under the dash. The hole is stripped and I removed a 1/4 28 bolt, the majority of the 1/4 bolts on these cars seem to be 1/4 20. I would like...

    Convertible SE?

Was there such a thing as a SE convertible? The overhead console and small rear window were big parts of the SE, without those what is left? Carpet on the doors and some emblems?

    Quartz clock

I looked at the ones on eBay, the hands didn’t look like my 71 Challenger rallye dash, I Sent a picture of mine and they said if I was concerned about original appearance I should buy a original clock. Also they have a harness to mount the battery remotely because you can’t access the knob to...
