with the flat bottom end (machine screw ends) I thought maybe they were the ones that hold a luggage rack on the trunk...but i think those are also shorter.
So...here is a thought I had, the rear bushings appear to be a slightly shorter version of the front bushings.
Can you buy front bushings and shorten them? For a clean cut, i've frozen rubber so it cuts more easily.

The plastic and 'bakelite(?)' versions were the Originals...they can be found but most are for other car models and the valve may open in the opposite direction (pull vs push) as the one for an E-body. They do crack.
