There has been quite a discussion of leaf springs and vendors on For A bodies only site. Do search on that site. Depends on your intentions for the car on the lift. If it's a mostly driver and stock looking don't get the lift, keep it stock height. It will have better handling and to my opinion look better. If you are making old school hot rodded with huge rear tires then may want the lift.

s/s rear leaf will give you enough clearance to do what ever tire wheel combo you like. BUT, you will probably have to run air shocks along with the sway bar to keep from scrubbing the tires on the wheel opening under hard L/R driving with the 50 + tires. and trust me it aint no fun when a tire eats a Q/P. not to mention what it does to a 350.00 tire. IMHO. postcar.
