Hello,
I am new to this forum and I have a question that may sound stupid. on a 1970 barracuda I have seen vin numbers that start with BH and BS I know that the B stands for barracuda and the H stands for High and S stands for special Is there any other significance to those letters?

BH was the low performance series so mostly 225/318 & 340 [cars in 70] & 383
BP was Grand coupe pkg in 70 only
BS was Cuda package / high performance , mostly 340 [some years, 71 up ] 383 426 440 powered
383 was available in BH , BP or BS cars
